The good kind of natural

All of our products are based on natural ingredients, such as rosemary, grapeseed oil, cocoa, tea tree oil, chamomile and olive oil. But just because something is natural, does not mean that it's good for you. After all, many poisonous substances are found in nature. That's why we have put in a lot of research to achieve the perfect blend of safe antioxidants, fatty acids, essential oils and vitamins – the building blocks for naturally flawless skin.

Our promise

Purature is committed to delivering innovative personal care products of the highest quality. We strive to develop natural products that promote healthy skin free from harsh chemicals. All of our products are dermatologically tested and cruelty-free: We do not conduct animal testing on our products or ingredients, nor ask others to test on our behalf.

What makes it work?

Antioxidants are molecules that can prevent and repair tissue damage. Antioxidants do this by fighting cell damage from free radicals, which start oxidation and increase the risk of cancer. If you've ever seen a freshly peeled apple turn brown, you've seen the effects of oxidation – and it's not pretty. Antioxidants block the effects of free radicals and therefore prevent oxidation.

Purature products are filled with powerful antioxidants of natural origin, including α-Tocopherol (a form of vitamin E) that is preferentially absorbed by the skin.

Fatty acids

Essential fatty acids are vital to many of the body's natural processes. As you age, the natural ability of your body's skin cells to retain moisture decreases, resulting in saggy, wrinkled skin. Essential fatty acids help your body to keep important nutrients within your cells, resulting in beautiful, younger-looking skin with a radiant glow.

Surprisingly, fatty acids are also able to help in the fight against acne. They help dissolve pore clogging fatty deposits and work to repair the skin damaged by blemishes.

To ensure you get to benefit from all the skin-nourishing properties of fatty acids, we've included several natural sources of essential fatty acids (like grapeseed oil containing a whopping 69.6% of linoleic acid) in our Antioxidant Facial Cream.

Vitamin A and tretinoin

A form of vitamin A called tretinoin (also known as retinoic acid or Retin-A) is one of the few ingredients that has clinically been shown to cause microscopic beneficial changes in the skin. It reduces the appearance of wrinkles and increases collagen production by slowing the production of matrix metalloproteinase, an enzyme that breaks down collagen and elastin fibers. Tretinoin has a long history of not only improving aging skin, but also preventing photodamage.

Tretinoin is also used as a form of acne treatment. It keeps pores free from blockages and decreases the formation of acne lesions by speeding up the natural exfoliation process of your skin. Tretinoin is also very effective in removing and preventing blackheads and whiteheads – so you can finally say goodbye to those annoying and costly blackhead strips. It can also reduce the look of dark spots and discoloration.

Select Purature Vitamin A Peeling & Repair if you're interested in the many benefits of tretinoin.

Essential oils

Essential oils are beneficial in balancing various skin conditions. These powerful plant extracts, unlike most synthetic ingredients that remain primarily on the skin's surface, can penetrate all the way to the subcutaneous tissue layer to pamper your skin.

Different essential oils offer different properties so our job was to meticulously study hundreds of different oils and carefully select only the best ones in each category. Our studies showed that eucalyptus essential oil, for example, offers the most effective combination of antibacterial action and protection against bacterial biofilms – that's why you'll find it in our sulfate-free Nourishing Cleanser.
